Episode 3: Disabled Students
Part of the disabled community, Erin moderates our third episode, focusing on disabled students within conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We talk about the language surrounding disability, crip theory, disability frameworks, and federal disability legislation. We then dive into an Inside Higher Ed article that discusses disability and diversity. We also discuss the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and how some disabled students hope some accommodations will remain in practice.
